Play groups, schedules & enrollment
01 What age can my dog start daycare?
Most dogs can start daycare as early as 16 weeks old, once they've completed their core vaccinations. We assess each dog individually to ensure they're comfortable in a group setting.
02 What vaccinations are required for daycare?
We require up-to-date rabies, DHPP (distemper, hepatitis, parainfluenza, parvovirus), and bordetella (kennel cough) vaccinations. Proof from your veterinarian is needed at enrollment.
03 How are play groups organized?
Dogs are grouped by size, energy level, and temperament. Our trained staff continuously monitor interactions to ensure safe, positive play experiences for every dog.
04 What does a typical day look like at daycare?
A typical day includes supervised group play, individual rest periods in comfortable spaces, enrichment activities, and outdoor time. We follow a structured schedule to keep dogs happy and calm.
Boarding
Overnight stays & extended care
01 How far in advance should I book boarding?
We recommend booking at least 2 weeks in advance, and 4-6 weeks ahead for peak seasons like holidays and summer. Last-minute availability may be possible — contact us to check.
02 What should I pack for my dog's boarding stay?
Bring their regular food (portioned per meal), any medications, a familiar blanket or toy, and their vaccination records. We provide bedding, bowls, and treats.
03 Can my dog stay with a friend or sibling?
Yes! Dogs from the same household can share a suite at no extra charge. We find that familiar companions help reduce stress during boarding stays.
04 Do you administer medications during boarding?
Absolutely. Our trained staff can administer oral medications, apply topical treatments, and follow specific health protocols. Please provide detailed instructions at check-in.
Grooming
Baths, cuts & specialty treatments
01 How often should I bring my dog in for grooming?
Most dogs benefit from professional grooming every 4-8 weeks, depending on breed, coat type, and lifestyle. Dogs with longer coats or those prone to matting may need more frequent visits.
02 How long does a grooming session take?
A standard grooming session takes 1.5 to 3 hours depending on your dog's size, coat condition, and the services requested. We never rush — your dog's comfort comes first.
03 Can you groom dogs with skin conditions?
Yes, we work with dogs who have sensitive skin, allergies, and dermatological conditions. We use hypoallergenic products and can follow your veterinarian's recommendations.
04 My dog is anxious about grooming. Can you help?
Absolutely. Our groomers are experienced with nervous dogs and use gentle, patient techniques. We take breaks as needed and never force a dog through any part of the process.
Training
Classes, behavior & private sessions
01 What training methods do you use?
We exclusively use positive reinforcement methods backed by behavioral science. This means rewarding desired behaviors with treats, praise, and play rather than using punishment or aversive techniques.
02 At what age should I start training my puppy?
Training can begin as early as 8 weeks old. Puppies are capable of learning basic cues like sit, come, and their name from the moment they come home. The earlier you start, the better.
03 Do you offer private training sessions?
Yes, we offer both group classes and private one-on-one sessions. Private sessions are ideal for addressing specific behavioral challenges or for dogs that aren't comfortable in group settings.
04 Can you help with aggressive behavior?
Yes, our behavioral support program addresses reactivity and aggression through careful assessment and individualized protocols. We work closely with you to understand triggers and develop a safe, effective management plan.
Excursions
Hikes, adventures & outdoor fun
01 What types of excursions do you offer?
We offer trail hikes, park adventures, and nature walks. Routes are selected based on the season, weather conditions, and the group's energy level to ensure a safe and enjoyable experience.
02 How many dogs are in each excursion group?
We keep groups small — typically 4 to 6 dogs — to ensure each dog receives individual attention and supervision from our trained adventure guides.
03 Does my dog need to be trained for excursions?
Dogs should have basic recall and leash manners. We assess each dog before their first excursion. If your dog needs some work, our training team can help them get excursion-ready.
04 Are excursions suitable for senior dogs?
Yes! We offer gentle walks suited to senior dogs' pace and physical abilities. We can tailor routes and group assignments to ensure older dogs enjoy the experience comfortably.
